April 5th, 2007--Free alcohol screenings at Renz Center’s Elgin location at Two American Way from 11am-1pm and 4-6pm. Call 874-742-3545 x1 to schedule.

April 12th, 2007– “Underage Drinking: A Community Concern” 6:30pm to 8:00pm at St. Charles North High School on Red Gate Road in St. Charles. Topics to be discussed include:

The status of underage drinking and prevention strategies
Legislative initiatives to ban the marketing of ‘alcopops’ to underage youth
Meeting Kane County’s needs for prevention, treatment, and recovery support services
