This year's theme was "Harvest Festival" and included duck pate, shrimp mousse and other delicious appetizers, roasted squash soup, stuffed pork loin with brandywine sauce, pumpkin cheescake dessert with sliced spiced apples and peanut brittle.

Guests enjoyed a four course meal that included:

Potato Leek Soup
Mixed Green Salad
Filet au Poivre with red wine veal sauce
Apple Tart (see picture below)

Guests enjoyed hearing pieces of Renz Center history, a presenation of the

Julie McCormack Award, and a Cake Decorating Demonstration.

ECC Pastry Chef Julie Pierce showcased her decorating skills with this beautiful anniversary cake made especially for Renz Center.

Renz Center board president, Dr. Ian Jones presented Brian McGuire, Hanover Township Supervisor with the Julie McCormack Award. The award was given to Hanover Township Mental Health Board for their many years of continued support for the agencies programs.
Rick Jakle of Fox Valley Broadcasting was the emcee for the evening. Rick did a supurb job of keeping the evening interesting!
Darlene was the happy winner of the iPad2 which was raffled off at the event!
Little Home Church by the Wayside, represented by Valeri Baldwin, was an honored guest for their many years of financial support!
Ron Razowsky, board member emeritus, shared a little Renz Center history with the guests.

Dessert!

A magnificent pastry topped with thinly sliced and seasoned apples with a apple decoration on top  . . . with a spoonful of strawberry mousse and chocolate icing lattice with a "50" for our 50 years of service - delicious.
