About Renz

The Renz Addiction Counseling Center provides alcohol and substance abuse and compulsive gambling prevention and treatment services to people of all ages. We offer special programs for women, youth, and those who are in a close relationship with a person who is addicted.  There are also programs for parents, partners, spouses, and children of individuals struggling with addiction.

Established in 1961, the Renz Center's offices throughout the central Fox Valley region are licensed through the State of Illinois. Our staff have expertise in the prevention and treatment of addictions and bring with them a wide variety of professional, personal, and academic backgrounds.

We are a publicly supported, not-for-profit agency and use a sliding fee scale for our client services. No one is denied service because of an inability to pay. We are approved for reimbursement by most insurance companies and adhere to all federal and state guidelines regarding the confidentiality of treatment cases.

Mission Statement:

Renz Addiction Counseling Center is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the prevention, intervention, and treatment of addictive behaviors and disorders and to factors often associated with addiction. The Center strives to provide anyone affected by addiction or addiction-related issues with the most effective preventative and clinical care in a safe and nurturing environment through a teamwork approach.

Just What is "Recovery?"

Perhaps you've seen what substance abuse can do to the life of a friend. A relative. A child. Yourself.

Recovery is breaking the cycle of addiction.

We help restore hope and recover lives by supporting people who begin the process of recovery. Our clients improve their self-confidence, self-image, and self respect.

We counsel, educate, advise, guide, and provide a supportive network which is vital to a life of recovery. Renz Center help clients establish a lifestyle which can be free of the entanglements of substance abuse and problem and compulsive gambling.
